	Born in Ohio, Grew Up in Chicago. BA from Wittenberg University in Ohio. MA from Ohio State University. Teach special ed. preschool now. Previously worked as environmental lobbyist (chemical industry) and Ohio EPA. Before that worked at a TV station in Nashville, Tennessee. Before that worked at the Rotary International Headquarters in Evanston, Illinois. Married at 42 to a widower (now married 11-1/2 years). One 22-year old step-son. Three mixed breed dogs (2 are chow mixes, one is a chihuahua/beagel mix). One came from the Humane Society, one from a rescue group, and one from a dog shelter.
